Me Sous was founded to bring different revenue streams to chefs & restaurants helping fuel the needed change in hospitality business models. We are a brand rooted in the hospitality world founded to combat the ever-growing impact of the pandemic on our beloved industry. A portion of every apron, hoodie, kitchen tool and grocery box we sell is directed towards our charity partners, ROAR & RWCF as well as our restaurant partners. We give back to the community that has given us so much.

Me Sous Gives Back

For every Me Sous purchase, we make a donation to the Restaurant Workers' CommunityFoundation (RWCF) and the Relief Opportunities for All Restaurants (ROAR), two non-profitsthat serves those who serve us so well.

ROAR is a community of restaurant owners and industry veterans with a mission to advocate for small restaurant businesses devastated by the effects of COVID-19. By supporting restaurant workers suffering financial hardships and helping create a path to a sustainable future for the hospitality industry in New York.

RWCF was founded in 2018 to advocate for — and raise funds for the other nonprofits working toward — gender equity, racial justice, fair wages & healthy work environments in the restaurant industry. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, RWCF’s additional focus is on supporting workers in crisis and small business owners with the Restaurant Workers COVID19 Crisis Relief Fund.

Frequently Asked Questions

How soon will I get my Me Sous goods?

Great question! Once the mise en place (a French phrase that roughly translates to “everything in its place”) is ready, you will get your Me Sous apparel and/or hard goods.

All orders that are not pre-orders are expected to ship within 1-2 business days via Fedex!

You will receive an email with tracking information as soon as your order ships

Sometimes we get “in the weeds” SO, if you do not receive a notification email within (5) five business days please email us and we will let you know the status of your items.

We fulfill out of New York City and transit times will vary based on shipment method and destination.

Delivery usually occurs between 1-7 business days after your package has shipped.

What is a pre-order?

Oh, the anticipation! We offer up pre-orders on some of our apparel in order to avoid being wasteful via overproduction.

At the time of your purchase, an estimate will be given for the delivery of the pre-ordered item.

Please note: estimates are not guarantees and may shift during the course of our production process. Should there be a delay of more than (7) seven business days from our initial estimate, we will notify you by email.

We do not accept cancellations of pre-orders for any reason at any time other than the 30 minutes after your order is placed. We use this information to make sure we do not over/under order any of our products!

Orders over $75 receive free domestic shipping! WOOHOO! 

If your order is less than $75 a standard shipping and tax rate will be applied at checkout. 

I feel like this is a good place to reiterate that we donate a portion of all purchases to our charity partners, ROAR & RWCF.

What does '86' mean?

Bars & restaurants use the term every single day. It’s used for two scenarios: when you run out of something, it's 86'd (*86 the special*) OR when one is no longer welcome in an establishment, they're 86'd.

If you’ve ever been an asshole in a restaurant, chances are someone has wanted to 86 you. To be 86’d means you’re not welcome here anymore. Goodbye! Adios! (86, 2020.)
